Dear Visitor
There is a brand of baby food called Purity. I can especially recommend their apple flavour! I suppose the name is appropriate because no mother will want to feed her child anything but that which is pure and good. We continue our series in 1 Corinthians looking at chap.5:1-13 which deals with impurity within the church and how God's people living in community should deal with it. God is deeply concerned with His church and wants it to be pure, which is why this is an important section to understand. Remember that as we looked at the church in Laodicea in Rev 3 last week, we saw that God rebukes thaose He loves and He longs to restore us and have deep fellowship with us.
Sunday 29th will see the beginning of the new evening services at HTC... Please look out for the advertising and think seriously about getting involved and bringing friends and family who are not Christians to join you, the service will start 6.30 every Sunday evening.
Please pray for Christina as she begins her ministry as children's worker at HTC. There is much to be done and she will need all our prayer and support. Dudu is a student from GWC who has been assigned to us to help Christina with children's ministry. Dudu had to have surgery on her thyroid, something completely unplanned. She is recovering. Please pray for quick recovery and for full health for her.
Doniwen and Ongi who have both graduated from CPUT are going to be doing an apprenticeship this year at HTC. Please pray for them as they help in various aspects of church ministry as well as on campus with the CPUT Student Y.
Continue to pray for Coby and Pamela, Calla, Lake and Liam as they settle back into life in SA. Pray for great blessing and encouragement as they serve God at the UCT Y.
