Dear Visitor
It's the start of the soccer world cup (please don't let Fifa know I used these words in conjunction) So this Sunday it's most appropriate that we look at Exodus chapters 5-11-the 10 plagues. The summary of these chapters is God displaying His glory not only to pharoah but ultimately to the nations as well. Could you read these chapters carefully before Sunday-it will really help in understanding what's going on!
In the evening at 5pm (note the time!) we will look at part 2 of guidance. We will see some common mistakes Christians can make in terms of guidance and will more specifically focus on guidance concerning calling into Christian service, emmigration and work.
Please remember to pray for the holiday club in the last week of the school holidays and to invite any grades 1-7 that you have contact with. The front page of the webpage www.holytrinity.org.za gives more detailed info on this.
Last...but not least-on Sunday come wearing your South African top or clothing item. If you are from another nation in the world cup line up come wearing your national colours...we promise to be nice to you!! If you have a flag of your nation bring it along and we will put it on the notice board.
Grace and peace,
Alan
