Dear Visitor
Make sure you are here early this Sunday! The 3rd Lausanne congress for world evangelization begins Sunday afternoon and we are privileged to have Robert Siakomotu from New Zealand preaching for us and Martin Sokomanu sharing about God's work of grace in the South Pacific. Robert is an evangelist based in New Zealand and has a ministry all over the South Pacific, Robert is from the island of Vanuatau (used to be called New Hebrides) If you have read about the life of John Paton who was one of the first missionaries to go to this island chain you will know the significance of hearing about the gospel being firmly established there.
After the service at 12.00 we will share lunch together. Weather looks great with little wind so come prepared with your lunch and to share with others as we entertain our guests and enjoy lunch outside!
In the evening at 5 Vuyani will be guiding us as we discuss the issue of discovering God's will from the book of Proverbs.
Kagiso is chaplain to some 400 stewards who have come from all over the world for the congress. Pray for him in this exciting opportunity as he teaches and helps them. Nastasia and Talitha are 2 of the stewards. Tanya has been working with a team of artists to make sure that the visual impact within the CTICC is glorifying to God. We have about 20 families hosting delegates-what a wonderful opportunity to show unity in Christ!
Last but not least-keep the Carlson family and Carol firmly in your prayers as they see unfolding that which they have spent the last 3 years helping to organise. Pray that the Gospel would advance to every corner of this globe through the contacts that are made and through the discussions that happen.
