In the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, the Word was God...the Word became flesh.
John 1:1-14 is the focus of the sermons this Sunday the 19th and on Christmas day. Take time to read this section carefully and think of all the pictures God has given to describe the coming of Jesus, The Christ, into our world.
Sunday night was a time of great thanksgiving as we, together with Point Community, sang all the great Christmas songs and thanked God for His Son. Great music team who put an enormous amount of effort into it, thank you for all the work you put in, it was great to see a number of guests and people from the neighbourhood visiting.
This Sunday at 5 we will take time to do something very important...we will spend an hour thanking God for His goodness for this past year and bringing particular needs to Him. Please look at rearranging your diary if you are in town, meeting together to pray like this is something very special. If you are not used to praying like this, please come as we pray in small groups and you will find this an enriching time for your soul.
