Watching events round the Middle East and espcially Libya we may ask the question...what's God up to? Wherever we see great upheavals in society we should ask this question because God is at work behind the scenes accomplishing His purpose of drawing people to Himself from every nation, tribe and tongue.
Sunday at 10 we look at the great mission of the Church, to be invited to partner with God in making His name great throughout the nations. Sunday evening at 5pm we begin a short series looking at the character of God, His love and His justice. (Bring helmets and lifejackets with)
Camp forms are out-Camp weekend is 8-10 April Dr Pete Smuts from Bible Institute will help us work through the meaning of Biblical reconciliation...God, marriage and family, in our society in South Africa. A weekend in a beautiful environment, great food, great teaching-places limited so hand in your campform asap.
Next week is the ordination of Jacques Erasmus. PCC will join us at Holy Trinity for this occasion. Our presiding bishop Des Inglesby will preach.
Finally, please be in prayer for Lorraine Van Rensburg whose husband Rudi went to be with the Lord. There will be a funeral service at 11 am next Thursday. Even in great sadness there is joy for God's people who mourn the death of loved ones who belong to Christ. Those loved ones are more alive than ever before.
