Dear Visitor
Besides the fact that everyone loves Friday as the end of the week, Good Friday, coming up this Friday, may to many people seem good because it's a holiday, the beginning of a long weekend and a welcomed break from pressurised life.
The GOOD in this Friday is much better than you could ever imagine. It's the best possible GOOD that a human being could ever experience, it's the fact that as objects of God's wrath, destined for eternal hell, we have been forgiven because Jesus willingly, as God's son, took every scrap of that wrath deserved for us, suffered the punishement in our place as our substitute, and gave us His righteousness as God. That is VERY, VERY GOOD. So good that it deserves to be sung about, talked about, shouted from the rooftops. Please pray that those who do not yet know the goodness of this Friday, would understand the message of the cross and be saved.
10 am Friday morning-communion as well. There will be no children's church for older children, we want them to join us in worship and hearing the message. There will be paper and something for them to link into the sermon (which will be about 20 min) During communion the children's workers will take those who are desperate for the great outdoors, out to play on the jungle gym!
Sunday at 10 we celebrate the wonder of the resurrection...there will be a children's programme downstairs at the same time.
No Sunday evening service this week or next week.
