This heading of this Sundays sermon at 10 is "Returning to vomit", taken from 2 Peter 2:22. Not a pleasant picture but descriptive of those who seek to mislead concerning spiritual truth. Nothing could be worse than this. Take time to read through 2 Peter 2:10-22 and to think about how well you understand Biblical truth and, if so, how ready you are to equip others so they may stand firm.
5 PM "Living in the land-Joshua-2 Samuel" continues the Bible overview series.
Understanding the Old Testament is critical to understanding the new, so make every effort to equip yourself on Sunday evenings.
This Saturday at 8am: (At the church) Missions prayer-The Beadles.Rodg&Linda and their family are training at Covenant seminary, St Louis Missouri. They are seriously working towards serving the Lord in central Asia. We will SKYPE them and spend time praying for them.
9.30am (At the church) Money possesions and eternity- A discussion based on the book of the same title. A number of people who are studying this book want to talk around ways in which we can apply the principles of stewardship and giving. Be great to have input from as many as are available!
