Dear Visitor
If you are at all in touch with world events you will know that the USA is in a financial mess, that many EU countries are in serious trouble and that there are no easy or quick solutions.
We will do well as God's people to try to understand that Biblical principles of economics apply just as much to nations as to our family budgets! This Sunday morning the topic -"Reforming money" will help us to think through God's perspective on money.
It's Ramadan, a great opportunity to pray for Muslim colleagues and friends, to look for opportunities to be a blessing to them. Try asking them why they fast and what they believe about things like sin, forgiveness of sin, how they see themselves being acceptable to God. You will find that will often give you an opportunity to explain what you believe on those things as well. If done in a prayerful, friendly and courteous way you will find God using you to be a greater blessing than you could ever imagine!
Please pray for Jean Roodt and Pat Tunstall both sturggling with their health. Ask our Lord to encourage Grant and Lokie Swanepoel serving with AIM as they settle into a new part of Northern Kenya. Pray that within their lifetime their would be no unevangelised tribes left in that part of Africa.
Liesel Warton is working with University Christian Fellowship at Bournmouth university with enormous opportunity for gospel ministry. There are a tiny number of full time workers for huge numbers of students, many from Middle Eastern lands where they have not been exposed to the gospel before.
So lets pray! In your growth group, or Sunday morning at 9:15 in upstairs hall.
