This Sunday at 10 we begin a series on Genesis 1-11. These chapters form the foundation for our understanding of life...pray that over the next weeks some will find that understanding more about the wonderful creator God who created all things will lead to a new and deeper relationship with Him.
Sunday at 5 sees the beginning of a new 7 part series looking at issues surrounding election and predestination. John Piper will guide us as we discover the amazing riches of God's plan of salvation. The evening service is an opportunity not only to dig deeper into God's Word but to also ask questions... why not set aside the next 7 Sunday evenings for this purpose?
There will be a team going up the first week of October to work with our partner Church in Lesotho. If you have a large, comfortable fuel efficient vehicle which you would be willing to allow us to use, please contact me, we urgently need transport. Please diarise Sat evening 17 September -Ryan Matthews and his team are organising an evening of entertainment and fun the like of which the Southern hemisphere has not seen...book the baby sitters, cancel everything, watch out this Sunday for more info! (This is all for the purpose of raising funds for the mission to Lesotho)

Jo Booysen's grandfather has passed away and she and Werner have gone over to the UK for the funeral.
Pam Jacob is getting married this Saturday at HTC, give thanks for God's provision for Pam and Chris!
Ernest and Joyce Elmes's grandson Jonathan who is working in the UK has just had a malignant tumour removed from behind his left eye. This has also meant that the eye has had to be removed. Give thanks for a succesful operation and pray for recovery and strength for Jonathan. Keep Ernest and Joyce in your prayers too.
