Dear Visitor
No-one knows where the Garden of Eden once was, we can guess that it was somewhere in the viciinity of the Tigres and the Euphrates rivers...a big area! It's no use looking for traces of it though, because the day Adam and Eve disobeyed God led to their removal from the Garden. They were now truly in the world, as the Bible describes the context in which sinful humanity lives. Their own personal experience of that must have been deeply distressing, and as their children are born and the earth is populated, the reality of what it means to live in a fallen world hits hard. Sunday at 10...the first murder.
Sunday at 5 we have been having all sorts of discussion and debate around the issues of election and predestination. Well worth digging into the scriptures for a deeper understanding of our glorious salvation.
Thursday and Friday Vuyani and I are at synod in Durban. This is where our denomination takes time to look at all our churches, and work towards ways in which we can together promote God's kingdom in this country and in Southern Africa. Please do keep these meetings in your prayers, they are important.
