Dear Visitor
This Sunday at 10 we look at what happens when factions appear in the local church, how important is our unity and what can we do to guard it as a local church and in our own personal lives?
Sunday at 5 we continue with our series "9 Marks of a healthy church" Bryan Marx will help us think through the challenge of evangelism.
Christianity Explored begins Monday night at 7pm at the church. It will run through to the last week in November. If you would like to attend or would like to bring someone with please confirm as soon as possible.
Please do be in prayer for Gerard Kotze (Poen) He has had pneumonia and is struggling with his health.
The Beadle family is due back in South Africa in June next year. It's going to be important for them to begin the hard work of raising support so that they can go to central Asia. Pray that we can help them get there as soon as possible.
The MacGinty family are in the last stages of raising their support to come back from the USA to South Africa. Their ministry at the UCT Y is very strategic. Please pray for them as they are still short of R6000 p/m. Calla, their daughter, has been suffering with severe migraines
Tanya Jarvis is preparing to serve the Lord in the Middle East. Pray for her as she raises her support.
I suppose someone might ask "Does it makes sense to be sending out Gospel workers in a time of international financial instability?" My response would be, we make sure we send only the people we would miss most, who are gifted and tested and approved, realising that there are a multitude of people who have yet to hear about the Lord Jesus Christ, many for the first time. That is kingdom investment. It's wonderful to have people like that that we can send.
We continue Gospel ministry here, in our homes, at work, in our communities and we ask God to help us to be faithful and to grow that we might serve Him here, in South Africa, In Lesotho, and wherever we have the privilege of sending others on our behalf.
