Dear Visitor
This Sunday morning after church we are asking all members and regulars to stay behind for a few minutes. We would like to fill you in on our progress in terms of taking on a fulltime children's worker for next year. Could you please plan 10-15 minutes after the service for this?
We are used to hearing about the cross, it's central to the thinking of anyone who has moved in Christian circles. But imagine living in a culture where the cross was the most horrible method of torture and execution imaginable? How would you feel about going into that culture and preaching about a crucified Saviour? 1 Cor 1:18-2:5 tells us how Paul felt as he did exactly this in Corinth.
Is our Church healthy? Are you healthy? (spiritually at least!) 9 Marks of a healthy church continues on Sunday at 5.
November is an important month...we are coming closer to the end of another year and have our 165th birthday Sunday coming up on the 27th of November. This is an important opportunity to remember our gospel heritage, to give thanks for it and be planning for the future.
